Youth Counselling Program Outline

Our mission is to empower disenfranchised youth under the age of 15 by providing compassionate, accessible, and culturally responsive counselling services. This program aims to foster emotional well-being, resilience, and self-confidence in children who face various social, economic, and psychological challenges. Through a holistic approach, we strive to equip them with the tools and support needed to overcome obstacles and pursue their fullest potential.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Children must be under the age of 15

  • From underserved, marginalized, or at-risk communities

  • Youth experiencing challenges related to poverty, bullying, trauma, family instability, or mental health issues

Core Services

  • One-on-one sessions focused on emotional health, trauma recovery, self-esteem building, and skill development.

  • Facilitated peer support groups to encourage positive social interactions and shared experiences.

  • Pairing youth with mentors who provide guidance, encouragement, and positive role modeling.

  • Educational sessions on emotional regulation, communication, conflict resolution, and resilience.

  • Guidance for parents and caregivers to foster a supportive home environment.
